Biography
Megan Maxwell, M.D., is an Associate Professor in the Department of Anesthesiology and Pain Management at UT Southwestern Medical Center. She serves as the liaison for Peri-Procedural Services at UTSW University Hospitals and oversees the Presurgical Testing Clinic. She specializes in general anesthesia and obstetrics anesthesia.
Dr. Maxwell earned her medical degree at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio and performed her residency in anesthesiology at UT Southwestern.
Certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology, she joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2014.
Dr. Maxwell conducts research on perioperative quality improvement. She is a member of the Texas Society of Anesthesiologists.
