Biography

Mihoko W. Abegunde, M.S.N., APRN, AGPCNP-BC, is a board-certified adult-geriatric primary care nurse practitioner (AGPCNP) in the Department of Internal Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center, focusing on geriatric house calls in The Care of the Vulnerable Elderly Program.   

Ms. Abegunde received her undergraduate degree from Texas Women's University and earned her Master of Science in Nursing for Adult-Geriatric Primary Care Nurse Practitioner at the University of Texas at Arlington in 2015.

She is board certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center and the Texas Board of Nursing.  

Ms. Abegunde is a member of several professional organizations, including the American Nurses Association, Texas Nurse Practitioners, American Nurses Credentialing Center, American Neuroscience Nurses Association, Anticoagulation Forum, American Academy of Home Care Medicine, and Sigma Theta Tau International.
