Biography
Mitchell Kelly, M.S.N., APRN, AGACNP-BC, is a board-certified Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AGACNP) in the Harold C. Simmons Comprehensive Cancer Center at UT Southwestern Medical Center. He specializes in bone marrow transplant and hematologic malignancies, with a principal focus on inpatient management.
Originally from Corpus Christi, he completed his Bachelor of Science degrees in Biology and Nursing at Texas A&M University- Corpus Christi. For nine years, he worked as a registered nurse in Dallas, where he received extensive experience in both critical care and surgical settings. This experience led him to pursue a Master of Science in Nursing from University of Texas at Arlington, graduating in 2017.
He is active in community service and regularly volunteers at a clinic for those who are uninsured or under-insured.
