Nancy Greilich, M.D.

Biography

Nancy B. Greilich, M.D., is an Associate Professor in the Department of Anesthesiology and Pain Management at UT Southwestern Medical Center. She specializes in anesthesia for burns, gynecology, and urology, and sedation anesthesiology for offsite areas.

Dr. Greilich earned her medical degree at The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston. She completed a residency in anesthesiology at The Johns Hopkins Hospital and received advanced training through an obstetrical anesthesia fellowship at the University of Maryland Medical Center.

Certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology, she joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 1995.

Dr. Greilich serves as a staff physician in the Departments of Anesthesiology and Pain Management at Parkland Memorial Hospital and William P. Clements Jr. University Hospital. She is a member of multiple professional societies, including the American Society of Anesthesiologists, the International Anesthesia Research Society, and the Texas Society of Anesthesiologists.

Dr. Greilich has contributed to peer-reviewed publications on topics related to anesthesia for outpatient herniorrhaphy, perioperative care of patients with sleep apnea, and anesthesia care for patients with cardiac disease undergoing non-cardiac surgery.

Personal Note

When she’s not at work, Dr. Greilich enjoys hiking, lifting weights, traveling, reading, and doing arts and crafts. She also is interested in homeopathy.
