Biography

Neena Francis, M.S.N., APRN, FNP-C, is a board-certified family nurse practitioner with more than 25 years of nursing experience, including over 15 years dedicated to acute and adult patient care. Ms. Francis earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a Master of Science in Nursing—Family Nurse Practitioner from the University of Texas at Arlington and is currently pursuing a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree at Chamberlain University. Her extensive clinical background spans intensive care, cardiovascular surgery, cardiology, critical care, and telehealth triage for both adult and pediatric populations.

She has served at leading institutions such as Medical City Hospital Dallas, UT Southwestern Medical Center, and UnitedHealthcare, providing telehealth services across more than 30 states. Ms. Francis has a special interest in fall prevention and lifestyle medicine and strongly believes that “food is medicine.” She is skilled in evidence-based care, interdisciplinary collaboration, and patient education to promote long-term health outcomes. She is committed to clinical excellence and patient-centered care, using her expertise and evidence-based practices to improve outcomes in primary and geriatric care, particularly for chronic and age-related conditions. She is passionate about disease prevention, population health, and advocating for underserved populations through community initiatives, volunteering, and policy integration.

As a DNP-prepared nurse and mentor, she strives to advance the nursing profession, support emerging nurse leaders, and promote quality improvement in healthcare systems. Outside of her professional work, she enjoys reading, cooking, gardening, and spending time with her family. She is also passionate about mentoring and volunteering in her community. She is certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) and licensed as a family nurse practitioner (FNP-C).
