Biography
Omaira Azizad, M.D., is an Associate Professor in the Department of Anesthesiology and Pain Management at UT Southwestern Medical Center. She specializes in general anesthesia.
Dr. Azizad earned her medical degree at Albany Medical College and completed a residency in anesthesiology at UT Southwestern.
Certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology, she joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2015.
Dr. Azizad is a member of the American Muslim Women Physicians Association, the Association of Pakistani Physicians of North America, the American Society of Anesthesiologists, the Texas Society of Anesthesiologists, the International Anesthesia Research Society, and the Islamic Medical Association of North America.
