Biography
Patrick Wong, D.D.S., M.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Surgery at UT Southwestern Medical Center. He specializes in orthognathic surgery, facial trauma surgery, and cleft and craniofacial surgery.
Dr. Wong earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery at Texas A&M College of Dentistry and his medical degree at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center School of Medicine. He completed a residency in oral and maxillofacial surgery at Baylor Scott & White Health’s Baylor University Medical Center. He received advanced training through a cleft and craniofacial surgery fellowship at Oklahoma Children’s Hospital through the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center.
He joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2024.
Dr. Wong serves as Division Director of Pediatric Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Children’s Medical Center of Dallas.
He has delivered presentations, contributed to the books Pearls and Pitfalls in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Atlas of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, and published several academic articles related to his areas of expertise.
Personal Note
When he’s not at work, Dr. Wong enjoys playing golf, running, weightlifting, spending time with his loved ones, and serving on medical missions.
