Biography

Peiman Lahsaei, M.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Anesthesiology and Pain Management at UT Southwestern Medical Center. He specializes in anesthesia for liver transplant patients, perioperative management of end-stage liver disease, critical care medicine with a focus on cardiothoracic ICU and surgical ICU, ECMO, and intraoperative hemodynamic monitoring. 

Dr. Lahsaei earned his medical degree at the Indiana University School of Medicine. He completed a residency in anesthesiology at Emory University and received advanced training in critical care medicine through a fellowship at Columbia College of Physicians and Surgeons.

Certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology, he joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2017.

Dr. Lahsaei is a member of the American Society of Anesthesiology and the Texas Society of Anesthesiologists. He has published several academic articles related to transplantation.
