Biography
Dr. Karatas is an Assistant Professor of Radiology in the Musculoskeletal Radiology Division. He earned his medical degree and completed his diagnostic radiology residency in Istanbul, Turkiye. Following years of clinical practice as a general radiologist in Turkiye, he successfully completed a four-year Alternate Pathway training program in our department, which included fellowships in Body MRI, Musculoskeletal Imaging, Cardiothoracic Imaging, and Cardiovascular Imaging.
Dr. Karatas joined the faculty in July 2026.
