Biography

Robert Rash, M.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Emergency Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center. He specializes in emergency medicine.

After earning his medical degree at Texas A&M School of Medicine, Dr. Rash completed a residency in emergency medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center.

Certified by the American Board of Emergency Medicine, he joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2018.

At UT Southwestern, Dr. Rash is the Director of the Emergency Department Stroke Committee and a member of several other committees, including the William P. Clements Jr. University Hospital Clinical Operations Committee and the Core Stroke Providers Committee.

Dr. Rash is a member of the Society for Academic Emergency Physicians and serves on its Membership and Clinical Operations committees. He also is a member of the American Medical Association, the Texas Medical Association, the American College of Emergency Physicians, and the Texas College of Emergency Physicians.

Personal Note

When he’s not at work, Dr. Rash enjoys hiking, staying fit, playing tennis, and spending time with his family.
