Biography

Ruban Dhaliwal, M.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center and a member of its Division of Endocrinology.

Dr. Dhaliwal earned her medical degree at Vinnica National Medical University in Ukraine. She completed internal medicine residency training at Long Island Jewish Medical Center in New York, where she also served as Chief Resident. Dr. Dhaliwal received additional training through an endocrinology, diabetes, and metabolism fellowship at State University of New York where she also obtained a degree in public health.

Board certified in internal medicine and endocrinology, Dr. Dhaliwal joined the UT Souhwestern faculty in 2023.

Dr. Dhaliwal, former President of the Great Lakes Society of Diabetes and Endocrinology and former Director of the Metabolic Bone Disease Center and the Bone Densitometry Program at SUNY Upstate Medical University, has delivered several presentations and published numerous academic articles related to her areas of expertise.
