Biography

Sandy Diep, MSN, APRN, FNP-BC, is a board-certified nurse practitioner (NP) in the Department of Internal Medicine - Nephrology at UT Southwestern Medical Center. She enjoys involving patients and their loved ones in shared decision making so they are able to make informed decisions that best align with their unique cultural and personal beliefs. She has a special interest in glomerular nephritis and sickle cell disease. She completed her undergraduate degree in nursing from the Texas Woman's University as an Honors Scholar Program Graduate and then earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Texas Woman's University T. Boone Pickens Institute of Health Sciences - Dallas Center in 2013. She is a member of the Texas Nurse Practitioners, National Kidney Foundation, and American Nephrology Nurses Association. She was awarded the 2017 D Magazine Excellence in Nursing Award.
