Biography

Sanjeev Dalela, M.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Anesthesiology and Pain Management at UT Southwestern Medical Center. He specializes in obstetric and transplant anesthesia.

Dr. Dalela earned his medical degree at the University College of Medical Sciences in New Delhi, India. He completed residencies in anesthesiology at Maulana Azad Medical College in New Delhi and at New York Methodist Hospital. After gaining advanced training in obstetric anesthesiology through a fellowship at Harvard Medical School, he completed an additional fellowship in liver transplant anesthesiology at Mount Sinai Hospital.

Certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology, he joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2023.

Dr. Dalela has published articles in peer-reviewed journals related to his areas of clinical expertise and has presented his research at numerous conferences.

When he’s not at work, Dr. Dalela enjoys traveling and watching movies.
