Shannon Mahoney, M.P.A.S., PA-C

Biography

Shannon Mahoney, M.P.A.S., PA-C, is a board-certified physician assistant (PA) in the Department of Radiology at UT Southwestern Medical Center, and a member of its Vascular & Interventional Radiology Division. 

Ms. Mahoney holds a bachelor's degree in biomedical sciences from Midwestern University in Downers Grove, Illinois. She received her master's degree in physician assistant studies at Marquette University in Milwaukee.

Prior to joining the Department of Radiology, she worked as a physician assistant in the Department of Internal Medicine at UT Southwestern. She also worked as a physician assistant in the Interventional Radiology Department at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, and in the Emergency Department at Mount Sinai Medical Center, also in Chicago, and at Family and Occupational Medicine in Peru, Illinois.

She is an active member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants.
