Shelley Capehart, M.D.

Biography

Shelley Lynn Capehart, M.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Surgery at UT Southwestern Medical Center. She specializes in benign anorectal pathology and colonoscopy.

Dr. Capehart earned her medical degree at UT Southwestern, where she also completed a residency in general surgery. She received advanced training in colon and rectal surgery through a fellowship at Greater Baltimore Medical Center.

Certified by the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Colon and Rectal Surgery, Dr. Capehart joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2021.
