Biography

Dr. Hamdi received his initial medical education at the Beirut Arab University in Lebanon, followed by a one-year research fellowship in basic sciences at the American University of Beirut. He completed his Internal Medicine residency at St. Joseph Hospital in Chicago, followed by a Nephrology fellowship then a Critical Care Medicine fellowship at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit. His areas of interest range from the management of the critically ill patient with renal and multi-organ failure in the ICU to the control and slowing of chronic kidney disease progression in the clinic.
