Biography

Tess Embrey Layman, MPAS, PA-C, is a board certified Physician Assistant (PA) in the Department of Internal Medicine - Pulmonology at UT Southwestern Medical Center. Tess completed her undergraduate degree (Bachelor of Science in Biology) from St. Mary's University in San Antonio, Texas and earned her first Master's level degree in Medical Science at UNT Health Science Center in Fort Worth. She then earned her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from Baylor College of Medicine in 2020. She began working in pulmonary medicine soon after. Tess is a member of the American College of Chest Physicians and the Texas Academy of Physician Assistants.
