Biography

Victory Akem, M.S.N., WHNP-BC, FNP-C, is a board-certified women’s health nurse practitioner and a certified family nurse practitioner at UT Southwestern Medical Center.

Ms. Akem completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Nebraska Medical Center-Lincoln and earned her Master of Science in nursing with a focus on women’s health from the University of Nebraska Medical Center-Omaha. She worked in obstetrics and gynecology in Phoenix in 2018 before returning to graduate school to complete a post-master’s certificate in family nurse practice in 2020 from Grand Canyon University.

She is a member of Nurse Practitioners in Women’s Health, the American Society for Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology, and Sigma Theta Tau.
