Biography

Adnan Khan, M.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center. He specializes in lung transplantation.

Dr. Khan earned his medical degree at the University of Queensland in St. Lucia, Australia. He completed a residency in internal medicine at the VCU Medical Center in Richmond, Virginia, during which he served as Chief Resident in Quality and Safety. He gained advanced training through a pulmonary and critical care medicine fellowship at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.

Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in pulmonary medicine and internal medicine, he joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2024.

In addition to his work in lung transplantation, Dr. Khan has clinical interests in advanced lung disease, pulmonary arterial hypertension, bronchoscopy, and endobronchial ultrasound.

Personal Note

When he’s not at work, Dr. Khan enjoys hiking and has a mission to hike in every national park.
