Biography

Adrian C. Lawrence, M.D., M.Ac.M., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center. He specializes in pulmonary medicine and lung transplant medicine. 

Dr. Lawrence earned his medical degree at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. He completed a residency in internal medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital and received advanced training in pulmonary and critical care medicine through a fellowship at the University of California, San Francisco, followed by a fellowship in heart-lung and lung transplantation at Stanford University. He also holds a master’s degree in academic medicine from the University of Southern California Keck School of Medicine. 

Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, Dr. Lawrence joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2019.

He is a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society, the American College of Chest Physicians, the American Society of Transplantation, the American Thoracic Society, the International Society of Heart and Lung Transplantation, and the Society of Critical Care Medicine.
