Biography

Aishwarya Devarakonda, M.D., is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Pediatrics at UT Southwestern Medical Center. She specializes in pediatric hospital medicine.

Dr. Devarakonda earned her medical degree at the Texas A&M University College of Medicine. She completed a residency in pediatrics at Phoenix Children’s Hospital and gained advanced training in pediatric hospital medicine through a fellowship at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center.

Board certified in general pediatrics and pediatric hospital medicine, Dr. Devarakonda joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2022.

She is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics, the Academic Pediatric Association, and the Texas Pediatric Society.

Dr. Devarakonda teaches both pediatrics residents and medical students, and her research interests include quality improvement.

Personal Note

Outside of work, Dr. Devarakonda enjoys reading and traveling. She is a native Telugu speaker.
