Biography

Alan Ready, MSN, APRN, CPNP-AC, is a board certified Acute Care Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (NP) in the Department of Pediatrics - Pediatric Hematology & Oncology at UT Southwestern Medical Center. He practices in the Pauline Allen Gill Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders (CCBD) at Children's Medical Center Dallas. Mr. Ready completed his undergraduate degree from the Texas A&M University and then earned his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from MCPHS University in Worcester, MA. He worked as a Registered Nurse (RN) for 7 years at Cook Children's Medical Center in Fort Worth, TX, starting his career in Hematology/Oncology and then transitioning to the Pediatric ICU. He completed his Master of Science in Nursing from The University of Texas at Arlington in 2020.
