Biography

Albert Huh, M.D., is an Assistant Professor of Anesthesiology and Pain Management at UT Southwestern Medical Center, where he serves as Clinical Rotation Director of Chronic Pain for the Anesthesiology Residency program. After receiving his B.A. in Chemistry at Duke University, he received his medical degree at Medical College of Georgia, earning selection into Alpha Omega Alpha Honors Society. He then completed his residency in Anesthesiology at Johns Hopkins Hospital and fellowship in Pain Medicine at MD Anderson Cancer Center.

Certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology in both Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine, Dr. Huh joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2021.

His clinical interests include management of acute and chronic pain, cancer-related pain, and anesthetic care. He is heavily involved in resident and fellow education, winning Pain Medicine Fellowship Faculty of the Year in 2025.
