Biography

Alicia Williams, M.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pediatrics at UT Southwestern Medical Center.

Dr. Williams earned her medical degree at the University of Toledo. She completed a residency in pediatrics at the Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt in Nashville, Tennessee, where she served as Chief Resident. She received advanced training through a fellowship in pediatric critical care at the Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago, where she served as Chief Fellow.

Certified by the American Board of Pediatrics in pediatric critical care, she joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2022.

Dr. Williams is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics, the Pediatric Acute Lung Injury and Sepsis Investigators, and the Society of Critical Care Medicine.
