Biography

Alyssa Macchiaroli, M.S.N., APRN, AGPCNP-C, is a board-certified Adult Gerontology Nurse Practitioner in the Harold C. Simmons Comprehensive Cancer Center at UT Southwestern Medical Center, specializing in oncology clinical trials.

Her clinical focus is on the management of patients in Phase I clinical trials, working collaboratively with physician scientists.

She completed her undergraduate studies in nursing, nutritional sciences, and psychology at The University of Arizona in Tucson, and earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Columbia University in the City of New York.

She is an Oncology Certified Nurse and is passionate about providing a high level of care to her patients as they participate in trials and contribute to the discovery of revolutionary cancer treatments.
