Biography

Amanda Garza, DNP, APRN, FNP-C, is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) in the Department of Neurology & Neurotherapeutics at UT Southwestern Medical Center. Ms. Garza completed her undergraduate degree in nursing from Texas A&M University in Corpus Christi. She then went on to complete her Master of Science in Nursing from The University of Texas in Arlington and her Doctorate in Nursing Practice from Baylor University in 2022. Ms. Garza joined the headache medicine team in 2022. Prior to this, Ms. Garza worked in primary care since 2019. She is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. She is compassionate and strives to provide the best care for her patients.
