Biography
Amaraoma Ugoji, M.D., is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Dermatology at UT Southwestern Medical Center. She specializes in general medical and procedural dermatology, providing care for a broad range of conditions including acne, eczema, psoriasis, hidradenitis suppurativa, pigmentary disorders, and skin cancer.
Dr. Ugoji earned her medical degree at the Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans. She completed a residency in dermatology at UW Health’s University Hospital and Clinics in Madison, Wisconsin, where she received comprehensive training in medical, pediatric, and surgical dermatology. She joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2026.
She is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology.
Personal Note
When she’s not at work, Dr. Ugoji enjoys traveling, spending time with loved ones, baking, watching movies and K-dramas, listening to Afrobeats, and attending concerts and sporting events.
