Biography

Amena Shahabuddin, MPAS, PA-C is a board certified physician assistant in the Harold C. Simmons Comprehensive Cancer Center at UT Southwestern Medical Center. Ms. Shahabuddin completed her Bachelors of Science in Biology at the University of Texas at Dallas in 2012. She went on to complete her Masters of Physician Assistant Studies in 2017 from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, TX. She practiced in El Paso, TX in the Emergency Department for three years during which she developed a passion for oncologic and hematologic medicine. Her clinical focus is on the inpatient management of patients with hematological malignancies, as well as those undergoing bone marrow transplant and cellular therapies. She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants.
