Biography

Andrea Nicole Fernandez, FNP-C, is a board certified Nurse Practitioner in the Department of Internal Medicine - Cardiology at UT Southwestern Medical Center. Ms. Fernandez completed her undergraduate degree from the University of Texas at Arlington in 2013. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing degree from the University of Texas in Arlington in 2019. She is accredited by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. Prior to joining the UT Southwestern team in 2022, she worked in family and preventative care. She is currently working with the interventional cardiology group and the valve clinic in the ambulatory setting.
