Biography

Anuja Mathew, MPAS, PA-C, is a board-certified physician assistant (PA) in the Division of Cardiology at UT Southwestern Medical Center. She graduated in 2005 with a Bachelor of Science in physician assistant studies at St John’s University, and then pursued a Master of Business Administration degree at Hofstra University in New York. She has over 16 years of being in the physician assistant field, with the majority of her experience in cardiology, both in the inpatient and outpatient setting. She currently works with a group of interventional cardiologists at UT Southwestern Medical Center in the ambulatory setting. She is a member of the American College of Cardiology. She is passionate about being a voice for the advanced practice provider (APP) community and quality improvement in the ambulatory setting to help provide better care for patients.
