Biography

Austin Dittrich, M.P.A.S., PA-C, specializes in general urology with a focus on men’s health. He grew up in Longview, Texas, and became interested in medicine while working as an ER scribe in college. He later worked as a scribe for a USMD urologist, where he developed a passion for urology and its role in improving patients’ quality of life.

Mr. Dittrich has worked in urology since graduating from PA school in 2019 and is excited to continue his practice at UT Southwestern. His approach to patient care is rooted in empathy and compassion. He strives to understand what his patients are facing not only physically but also mentally and emotionally, and he takes the time to listen. He lives in Fort Worth and enjoys traveling, playing tennis, spending time with friends, discovering new restaurants, and participating in medical missions.
