Biography

Benjamin Miller, M.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at UT Southwestern Medical Center. He specializes in sports medicine and musculoskeletal medicine.

Dr. Miller earned his medical degree at Penn State University College of Medicine. He completed a residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at Indiana University Health, where he served as Chief Resident, and gained advanced training through a primary care sports medicine fellowship at the University of Michigan Medical Center.

He joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2025.

Dr. Miller’s clinical interests include injury prevention and therapeutic interventions and procedures within sports medicine. He has served as a team, sideline, or courtside physician for several high school and Division I university football and basketball teams.

He is a member of the Association of Academic Physiatrists, the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, the American College of Sports Medicine, and the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine. He has delivered numerous presentations in his areas of clinical expertise.

Personal Note

When he’s not at work, Dr. Miller enjoys working out at his local CrossFit gym, trying new restaurants with friends, finding the best local coffee shops, and traveling.
