Biography

Bethany Gardner, M.P.A.S., PA-C, is a board-certified Physician Assistant (PA) in Harold C. Simmons Comprehensive Cancer Center's Bone Marrow Transplant-Hematological Malignancies Clinic at UT Southwestern Medical Center.

She received her Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics from the University of North Dakota. She went on to pursue a Master of Science in Exercise and Sports Nutrition, and completed her thesis on vitamin D status in female athletes. She earned her Master of Physician Assistant Studies at UT Southwestern Medical Center in 2015.

Before working in the BMT/Hematological Malignancies Clinic at Simmons Comprehensive Cancer Center, she worked as a sports dietitian and clinic coordinator for Texas Women’s University.

She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Oncology Nursing Society.
