Biography

Bethany Roehm, M.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center. She specializes in general nephrology, heart failure in kidney disease, and hypertension.

Dr. Roehm earned her medical degree at Texas A&M University and then completed a residency in internal medicine at Tufts University, where she also received advanced training through a nephrology fellowship. In addition, she also earned a master’s degree in clinical and translational research at Tufts.

Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, she joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2021.

Dr. Roehm is the author of several articles, reviews, and presentations, and she contributed to the book Handbook of Critical Care Nephrology.

She is a member of the American Medical Association, the American Society of Nephrology, and the National Kidney Foundation.
