Biography

Bushra Mian, M.D., is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Family and Community Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center.

Dr. Mian earned her medical degree at Ross University School of Medicine in Barbados. She completed a residency in family medicine at the University of Maryland Medical Center.

Certified by the American Board of Family Medicine, she joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2024.

Dr. Mian’s clinical interests include women’s health and lifestyle and preventive medicine.

She is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the American Medical Association.

Personal Note

When she’s not at work, Dr. Mian enjoys spending time with her family (including her cats), sampling diverse cuisines, and traveling the world.
