Biography

Caitlin Helm, M.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center. She specializes in hospital medicine.

Dr. Helm earned her medical degree at the University of Michigan Medical School in Ann Arbor. She completed an internal medicine residency at UT Southwestern.

She joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2023.

Dr. Helm’s clinical interests include pulmonary and critical care medicine and medical education. She has delivered numerous presentations and published multiple peer-reviewed articles in her areas of expertise.

Personal Note

When she is not at work, Dr. Helm enjoys traveling, watching college football, spending time with her family, and reading. She has a working proficiency in Spanish.
