Biography
Carol Abousaab, M.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center. She specializes in palliative medicine.
Dr. Abousaab earned her medical degree at UT Southwestern Medical School. She completed a residency in internal medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center and gained advanced training through a hospice and palliative medicine fellowship at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City.
Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, she joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2024.
In addition to her work in palliative medicine, Dr. Abousaab also focuses on medical education.
She is a member of the Dallas County Medical Society and the Texas Medical Association and has delivered presentations and published academic articles related to her areas of expertise.
