Biography
Carter A. Crain, DNP, APRN, CPNP-AC, CCRN, is a board-certified acute care pediatric nurse practitioner (CPNP-AC) and board-certified critical care registered nurse (CCRN) in the Department of Pediatrics, contracted by UT Southwestern Medical Center to the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at Children's Medical Center Dallas and Plano. Mr. Crain completed his Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) at the University of Central Arkansas in 2016, his Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) at the University of Texas at Arlington in 2022, and his Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) at the University of Texas at Austin in 2024. His nursing experience includes pediatric critical care, pediatric cardiac critical care, neonatal intensive care, and extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO).
