Biography

Dr. Chen is originally from California, but received her medical degree at the Feinberg School of Medicine at Northwestern University in Chicago, Illinois. She completed internal medicine residency at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, and drawn by the diverse and underserved patient population, stayed for pulmonary and critical care fellowship. She has a research interest in database analytics and predictive algorithms to improve patient outcomes in medical intensive care units. Her clinical practice is in critical care. Dr. Chen’s interests outside of medicine include her family, cooking, knitting, and exploring state and national parks.
