Biography

Dr. Catherine Ikemba's current interests are in prenatal diagnosis, treatment and counseling for children with congenital heart disease. Her team is continuing to develop their fetal heart program, which has been approved by the Joint Commission Disease Specific Certification in Fetal Heart Care since 2009. She spent a fourth year of fellowship training specializing in Perinatal Cardiology and three years of Cardiology Fellowship at Texas Children’s Hospital/Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, TX. Her pediatric residency training was at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine/Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx, NY, and medical school was at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles.

Dr. Ikemba was included in D Magazine's Best Doctors list for 2018 and 2022, and its Best Pediatric Specialists list in 2020.
