Biography
Chasity Custer, M.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pediatrics at UT Southwestern Medical Center.
Dr. Custer earned her medical degree at the West Virginia University School of Medicine. She completed a residency in pediatrics at Texas Children’s Hospital and received advanced training through a pediatric critical care medicine fellowship at Children’s Medical Center Dallas.
Certified by the American Board of Pediatrics in pediatric critical care medicine, she joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2024.
Dr. Custer is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics, the American Medical Association, the Society of Pediatric Critical Care Medicine, and the Texas Medical Association.
