Biography

Choolwe Virginia Mupunga, M.S.N., APRN, FNP-BC, is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) in the Harold C. Simmons Comprehensive Cancer Center at UT Southwestern, specializing in breast surgical oncology. She completed her Master's Degree in Nursing (Family Nurse Practitioner) at South University in Novi, Michigan in 2016. Her main responsibilities include clinical assessment and management of breast cancer patients and high risk patients. She aims to focus on patient-oriented care and positive patient outcomes. "I have always wanted to be part of a health care institution that is constantly growing to enhance the quality of care provided to patients." I am so glad to be joining this stellar team and being a part to continue enhancement of patient care at UT Southwestern Medical Center. She is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and Oncology Nursing Society
