Biography

Daniel Veltkamp, M.D., is a Clinical Professor of Radiology at UT Southwestern Medical Center, and a member of its Pediatric Radiology Division.

Dr. Veltkamp holds a bachelor's degree in zoology from the University of Kentucky in Lexington. He earned his medical degree at the University of Kentucky College of Medicine, and remained there to complete his radiology residency. He then received advanced training through fellowship programs in neuroradiology and in pediatric neuroradiology at UT Southwestern.

He joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2000.

Dr. Veltkamp is an active member of the American Society of Neuroradiology.
