Danyal Thaver, M.D.

Biography

Danyal Thaver, M.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pediatrics at UT Southwestern Medical Center.

Dr. Thaver earned his medical degree at Aga Khan University in Pakistan. He completed a residency in pediatrics at Upstate Golisano Children’s Hospital in Syracuse, New York, and received advanced training through a fellowship in pediatric critical care at UT Southwestern.

Certified by the American Board of Pediatrics in pediatric critical care medicine, he joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2024.

Dr. Thaver is a member of several professional associations, including the American Academy of Pediatrics and the American Medical Association.
