Biography

Delaney Dowd, M.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pediatrics at UT Southwestern Medical Center.

Dr. Dowd earned her medical degree at UT Southwestern Medical School. She completed a residency in child neurology at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center, where she served as Chief Resident, and received advanced training through a pediatric neurocritical care fellowship at the Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago.

Certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in neurology with special qualifications in child neurology, she joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2024.

Dr. Dowd is a member of several professional associations, including the American Academy of Neurology, the Child Neurology Society, and the Pediatric Neurocritical Care Research Group.
