Biography

Egle Richards, PT, D.P.T., NCS, is a staff physical therapist in the Department of Physical Therapy at UT Southwestern Medical Center. She specializes in providing care for patients with neurologic conditions, including vestibular pathologies, cerebellar ataxia, stroke, Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis, and brain injury.

Dr. Richards earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree and completed her residency in neurologic physical therapy at UT Southwestern. She also holds a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology from Anderson University in South Carolina.

A certified neurologic clinical specialist, she joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2015.

Dr. Richards is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association, including its Neurology Section, and the Texas Physical Therapy Association.

Personal Note

When she’s not at work, Dr. Richards enjoys spending time with her husband and dog at the lake, playing tennis, hiking, and water skiing.
