Biography
Elissa Brunaugh, M.P.A.S., PA-C, is a board-certified Physician Assistant (PA) in the Harold C. Simmons Comprehensive Cancer Center at UT Southwestern Medical Center. Her clinical work focuses on the inpatient management of patients with hematological malignancies.
She received her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Baylor University in 2016. She then earned her Master of Physician Assistant Studies at UT Southwestern Medical Center in 2019. During her education, she developed a passion for oncology with a special interest in hematologic malignancies.
She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, the Texas Academy of Physician Assistants, the American Society of Clinical Oncology, and the Advanced Practitioner Society for Hematology and Oncology.
