Biography

Elizabeth Kim, M.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at UT Southwestern Medical Center. She specializes in general obstetrics and gynecology.

Dr. Kim earned her medical degree at the University of Minnesota Medical School. She completed a residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Ohio State University Hospital.

Certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, she joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2025.

Dr. Kim is a member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and the Society for Academic Specialists in General Obstetrics and Gynecology, for which she serves on the Membership Steering Committee.

Her clinical interests include prenatal care, birth control, and adolescent gynecology.

Personal Note

When she’s not at work, Dr. Kim enjoys spending time with her twins, using her Peloton, walking, and reading.
