Biography
Elizabeth Shay, M.S.N., APRN, WHNP-BC, is a board-certified women’s health nurse practitioner in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at UT Southwestern Medical Center. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Texas Christian University in 2019 and her Master of Science in Nursing, with a specialization in women’s health, from Vanderbilt University in 2025. Ms. Shay has provided care in women’s health since 2019, with experience in obstetrics and gynecology. She began her career at UT Southwestern as a labor and delivery nurse and later worked in the UT Southwestern urogynecology clinic. She completed her clinical preceptorship at the UT Southwestern OB/GYN clinic before transitioning into her role as an advanced practice provider. She is a member of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing and is committed to delivering compassionate, comprehensive care to women across the lifespan.
