Elizabeth Thomas, D.O.

Biography

Elizabeth Thomas, D.O., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pediatrics at UT Southwestern Medical Center.

Dr. Thomas earned her medical degree at Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed a residency in pediatrics at UT Southwestern and Dell Children’s Medical Center of Central Texas.

Certified by the American Board of Pediatrics, she joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2021. She serves as Faculty Lead for TeamFIRST, an initiative to improve patient safety by teaching health care students teamwork competencies.

She is a member of several professional associations, including the American Academy of Pediatrics.
